Will is knocked from his bicycle by a hit-and-run driver and is diagnosed with concussion. Will's one new client is Guy, who claims to be regularly disturbed in his flat by his sister, who has been dead for five years. Chance encounters with her become more frequent and bizarre, taking a toll on Wills marriage, livelihood, and sense of self. Emma knows a lot more about Will than she should.

Her chance encounters with Will became more frequent and strange.
