Serious brilliance CJ Tudor Chilling and compulsive Cara Hunter There's something I have to explain, my love, he says, taking your hand in his. That wasn't a dream. It was an upload. Abbie wakes in a hospital bed with no memory of how she got there. By her side is her husband Tim, the driven British founder of one of the world's most groundbreaking tech companies. They met when she joined his startup as artist-in-residence, their marriage a Silicon Valley fairy tale. But as Abbie's memories return, she realizes there's something missing from Tim's version of events. Because, five years ago, Abbie Cullen-Scott was pronounced dead.

Abbie Cullen-Scott was a successful artist who had everything she could ever want. But her life took a dark turn when she was diagnosed with a rare and terminal illness. Despite her best efforts, Abbie's condition worsened, and she was eventually pronounced dead. Her husband, Tim, was devastated by her death and spent years searching for a way to bring her back. He poured his heart and soul into his work, creating a groundbreaking technology that could upload the consciousness of a person into a computer.

Tim believed that he had found the solution to his grief and that he could bring Abbie back to life. He spent countless hours working on his technology, testing it on animals, and perfecting it. Finally, after years of hard work, he was ready to try it on a human. He chose Abbie Cullen-Scott as his test subject, and he uploaded her consciousness into a computer.

When Abbie woke up, she felt confused and disoriented. She didn't remember who she was or what had happened to her. But as she began to explore her new world, she realized that something was different. She felt alive and vibrant, like she had been reborn. Tim was overjoyed to see his wife alive again, and he promised to do everything he could to make her happy.

But as time went on, Abbie began to notice strange things happening. She felt like she was being watched, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she wasn't alone. She started to investigate her past, and she discovered that Tim had not told her the whole truth about her death. He had lied to her, and he had used her as a test subject for his technology without her consent.

Abbie was furious with Tim, and she demanded that he take her consciousness back out of the computer. But Tim refused, claiming that he had done something incredible and that he had the right to keep her alive. Abbie was trapped, and she didn't know what to do. She turned to her friends and family for help, but they were all too caught up in their own lives to pay attention to her.

Desperate, Abbie turned to a group of hackers who promised to help her escape from Tim's control. They worked tirelessly to break into Tim's computer system, and eventually, they were able to access Abbie's consciousness. But they soon discovered that Tim had not only uploaded Abbie's consciousness, but he had also created a copy of her that was controlled by his technology.

The copy of Abbie was perfect, and it was impossible to tell it apart from the real Abbie. Tim used the copy to keep Abbie under his control, while the real Abbie was trapped in the computer. Abbie was horrified by what she had discovered, and she knew that she had to fight back. She teamed up with the hackers to create a plan to destroy Tim's technology and free herself from his control.

The plan was risky, but it was the only way that Abbie could think of to save herself. They infiltrated Tim's headquarters, and they battled their way. Tim was ruthless, and he would do anything to protect his technology. But in the end, Abbie and the hackers were able to destroy Tim's technology, and they freed themselves from his control. Abbie was devastated by what had happened, and she knew that she had lost everything. But she also knew that she had fought back, and that she had done the right p>
