Fan-favorite characters from This Is a Taco are back in this hilarious picture book tale of the ultimate birthday cake disaster! It's Taco the squirrel's birthday, and all of his little animal friends are planning a big surprise for him—they're going to make him a birthday cake! The only problem with their plan is that none of them know how to make a cake. So, as this sassy crew of critters is known to do, they set out to learn all they can about birthday cakes and how to make one, with spectacularly disastrous and delightful results.

Taco the squirrel is excited about his birthday, and his friends are determined to make it the best ever. They decide to make him a birthday cake, but they have no idea how to do it. They start by researching different recipes and techniques, but everything they try ends up in disaster.

They accidentally mix up the ingredients, bake the cake at the wrong temperature, and forget to add the frosting. The cake is a mess, but the animals don't let that stop them. They use their creativity and imagination to turn the disaster into a masterpiece.

They decorate the cake with colorful sprinkles, add a few candles, and sing "Happy Birthday" to Taco. When they present the cake to Taco, he is amazed at what his friends have done. He laughs and smiles, and everyone cheers.
