Lee Agazzis life is blighted by his fathers bullying when he does not shine at school. This culminates in him being forced from the house by his angry father when he fails most of his O Levels. Thanks to the kindness of friends,Lee finds somewhere to live and employment as an apprentice joiner. He also meets Anna, who sees beyond the traumatised teenager to the fine man he will one day become. Far from being the abject failure his father predicted Lee is actually a happily married man of substance. When his much-loved daughter encounters the same difficulties at school,Lee finds himself in danger of responding in the same manner as his father. Her difficulties are attributed to dyslexia and Lee finally begins to understand the condition that has shaped his life. But is it too late for him to forge a reconciliation with his father?

A novel of hope and redemption – as one man struggles to overcome the many problems and issues of his life. He comes to realise that many of these stem from his own dyslexia and the misconceptions and attitudes of others which surround it.

Lee Agazzis life was plagued by his fathers relentless bullying, particularly when he struggled academically. This led to him being ousted from his home by his enraged father when he failed most of his O Levels. However, thanks to the generosity of his friends, Lee was able to find a place to stay and secure employment as an apprentice joiner. During this time, he also met Anna, a woman who saw beyond the traumatized teenager and recognized the potential within him. Contrary to his fathers expectations, Lee proved to be a successful and contented man, eventually marrying and starting a family.

However, when his much-loved daughter encountered similar challenges at school, Lee found himself in danger of responding in the same manner as his father. Her difficulties were attributed to dyslexia, and Lee began to understand the condition that had shaped his life. He realized that many of the problems and issues he had faced stemmed from his own dyslexia and the misconceptions and attitudes of others surrounding it.

Determined to make a change, Lee embarked on a journey of self-discovery and reconciliation. He sought out resources and support to better understand his condition and began to educate others about it. He also reached out to his father, expressing his regret and seeking forgiveness for his past behavior.

To his surprise, his father was receptive to his apology and expressed a desire to mend their relationship. They spent time together, sharing their experiences and learning from each other. Lee realized that his dyslexia had not defined him but rather been a catalyst for growth and self-discovery.

Through his journey, Lee learned that it was never too late to overcome obstacles and forge new connections. He had found hope and redemption in his struggles with dyslexia, and he was determined to use his experience to help others who were facing similar challenges.

In conclusion, Lee Agazzis life was marked by adversity and hardship, but he was able to overcome these challenges and find success and happiness. His journey with dyslexia taught him valuable lessons about resilience, self-discovery, and reconciliation. By sharing his story and educating others about dyslexia, Lee hope to inspire others to embrace their differences and pursue their dreams.
