For over forty years, former members of Generation 27, a briefly successful band in the late seventies, have been plagued by the ghosts of the group's collapse. Stephen carries the weight of guilt, Philip blames everyone else for his fall from stardom, and Martin battles addiction and illness. It is only when strangely familiar figures emerge from those shadows that each of them is forced to confront their loss and regret. The past is a foreign country, but how will the three friends navigate their way from there to the future?
