The jar was full! Where did they go? Mmm...Oh!...Now I know...Mouse took the cookies from the cookie jar!

Skunk, a curious and adventurous creature, sets out on a mission to find the culprit who took the cookies from his cookie jar. The jar was full to the brim with delicious cookies, and Skunk couldn't resist the temptation. But when he returned to the jar, the cookies were gone!

Skunk searched high and low, asking his animal friends if they had seen anything suspicious. Mouse, a cunning little creature, came forward and confessed to the crime.

"I took the cookies, Skunk," Mouse said with a mischievous grin. "I couldn't resist the temptation."

Skunk was surprised and angry, but he couldn't help but admire Mouse's ingenuity. "You're a clever little mouse," Skunk said. "But you know, stealing is wrong."

Mouse nodded in agreement. "I know, Skunk. I'm sorry I took the cookies. I'll make it up to you."

And so, Mouse and Skunk set out on a quest to find a way to replace the stolen cookies. They visited the bakery and asked the baker to make more cookies, and they even went on a treasure hunt to find the ingredients for the cookies.

Finally, after many adventures and a lot of hard work, Mouse and Skunk were able to replace the stolen cookies and restore the cookie jar to its full glory.

From that day on, Mouse and Skunk became the best of friends, and they never stole anything again. They learned that it's important to be honest and to take responsibility for your actions, even if they involve stealing cookies from a cookie jar.

And so, the story of the missing cookies and the clever mouse who took them continues to be a beloved tale in the Southwest, reminding us all of the importance of honesty and responsibility.
